Step 1
.First of all, start off with a clear base coat.Step 2
Paint your nails two coats of a white nail varnish. This step will make the ombré more opaque.
Step 3
Take a foundation sponge and paint one stripe of pink, one stripe of orange and one stripe of yellow, overlapping each other. Dab the sponge on a piece of paper to get rid of the excess polish. Roll the sponge from right to left on your nail until the ombré is opaque.
Step 4
Use a fast drying top coat while the polish is still a bit wet to blend the colours even more.
Step 5
To create the palm tree, use a black striper to create a slightly curved line, pressing a bit harder as you reach the end of the line to make the end of the tree thicker.
Step 6
Make small flicks coming out of the line we made earlier, using a black striper to create the leaves.
Step 7
Once you're happy with your palm tree, leave to dry, then use a fast drying top coat just on your ring finger where you painted the tree as you already used a top coat on the rest of your nails to blend the colours.
