Girly Dotticure

Hi everyone! This is my first 'nail art' post of 2017! I absolutely love this design...so girly and chic, and I cannot emphasise how quick and easy this was!
It literally took me about 10 minutes, but looks like you spent ages at it. I hope you enjoy reading πŸ˜„

Step 1
Start off with a base coat to protect your natural nails

Step 2
Paint all your nails pink, or any colour of your choice...any pastel colour would be gorgeous

Step 3
Using a dotter, create 2 or 3 large dots on each nail close to the cuticle

Step 4
Create several more black dots, becoming smaller and smaller as you move further away from the cuticle

Step 5
Repeat step 3 and step 4 using white and silver...finish your dots about half way up your nail

Step 6
Seal in with a top coat

It's as simple as that! I told you it was easy!!

See you next week 😘

2017 Nail Trend Alert

Happy Sunday!
By now, you have probably cleared our your wardrobe for the new year, and maybe are already up-to-date on the coming year's fashion and makeup trends, but it's now time to start thinking about updating your manicure too!
These trends are inspired by the 2017 spring/summer runways, and I have to say, I can see some of these trends becoming very popular!

Metallics
Metallic nails are going to be a big trend for 2017. You can go subtle or full-on with this trend. Become creative and instead of painting your whole nail metallic, why not paint your nail matte with metallic tips! Below are a few ideas on how to rock the trend.

Black Accents
Black nail varnish is making its mark in 2017. Having black accents on your nails, both matte or glossy is right on trend this year.

Earthy Tones
Earthy tones and neutral/subtle colours are definitely on trend for the coming year. These colours are so delicate and feminine, and I think will definitely make a big statement in 2017.

I can't wait to see all the nail trends in 2017, and I will definitely be rocking some of the ones I've mentioned above. What do you think of these trends?
See you soon😘

My SOSU Collection 2017

SOSU is definitely one of my favourite brands for nail varnish...I also love her other beauty products but for now I will just talk about the polishes.
If you aren't familiar with the brand, it was set up by top Irish beauty blogger Suzanne Jackson. They are a gel colour polish collection, without the lamp. I won't go into too much detail about the nail varnishes, but if you are interested, I did a review on the collection a while back which you can read here. I absolutely love this brand, and also Suzanne herself is so lovely...I've met her twice and she is so down to earth.
I have attached images of each colour in my collection, along with a swatch of each colour. So I hope you enjoy and maybe even spot a colour you would like yourself!

Coral Reef

Rock Candy

She Means Business

Bitter Sweet

Fairy Wings

Serial Shopper

Hocus Pocus

Heavens Stairway

Unicorn Dust (on top of Heavens Stairway)

Who's the Boss

Magic Sword (Penneys exclusive)

So that's my collection! I absolutely love every single one of them and would definitely recommend the brand. I hope you like these kind of posts, and maybe even fell in love with a few of the colours!
That's it from me and I'll be back soon with another post,

New Years Fireworks

Happy New Year!! I hope you all had a great 2016 and have an even better 2017! I decided to start of 2017 with some fireworks to celebrate.

Step 1
Start off with a base coat

Step 2
Paint all your nails black

Step 3
Mix white acrylic paint with water. Start at the corner of your nail and fan the brush outwards creating strokes. Repeat for however many fireworks you desire

Step 3
Mix coloured arcylic paint with water to make a very sheer colour. Use a brush to dab this over the white...it doesn't need to be perfect!

Step 4
Add silver glitter for stars around the fireworks...also add it to your other nails

Step 5
Seal in with a top coat

I hope you enjoyed this design and I'll be back again soon with more posts!
