Hibiscus Nails
Even though the weather hasn't been great here lately, it hasn't stopped me from creating bright and summery looks on my nails. I love summer, it's the perfect excuse to create bright, mad looks on your nails. I saw this design done by Hannah Weir, AKA The Nail Trail on YouTube, and I just had to give them a shot. She is unbelievable at nails, so if you're into nail art, I would definitely suggest checking her out.
Step 1
Apply a base coat
Step 2
Paint your nails a light blue/mint colour
Step 3
Dip a small striper into a pastel pink nail varnish and create flowers at random on each nail
Step 4
Using a darker pink striper, add a few lines at the base of each petal to add depth and texture
Step 5
Using a green striper, create one or two leaves on each nail
Step 6
Dip a dotting tool into a pastel yellow, and create a small dot in the centre of each hibiscus flower
Step 7
Using the same yellow on a striping brush, create a thin line coming out of the centre of each flower at random
Step 8
Add a topcoat to seal in the design
I hope you liked this design...see you next week💖

Get the Look- Jade Thirlwall
It's a well known fact by now that I am a massive Little Mix fan. At this year's Brits in February, Jade was seen rocking these gorgeous gold glitter waterfall effect nails, and 4 months later I am finally getting round to recreating them. These are honestly so easy to do...all you need is nude, gold glitter and a makeup sponge!
Step 1
Start off with a base coat
Step 2
Paint your nails two coats of a nude nail varnish
Step 3
Paint a stripe of gold glitter nail varnish onto a makeup sponge and dab it onto your nail, focusing at the tip of the nail and carefully fading it out down the nail
Step 4
Seal in your design with a clear top coat
It's that simple! I have a festival design coming soon inspired by Perrie Edward's nails in the new Power video...I can't wait to show you
Keep your eyes peeled👀

Red Roses
So I am finally back, and have also switched up the layout and design of this whole blog, and I couldn't be happier! What do you think of it?
Recently I bought these chevron sticker templates, so I decided to do these really pretty chevron nails topped off with a few roses...I hope you like them and enjoy this post.
Step 1
Start off with a base coat to protect your nails
Step 2
Paint your ring finger nail nude
Step 3
Once the nude is 100% dry, add your chevron template. Paint over it in white, and while it is still wet, peel off the template
Step 4
Using a dotting tool dipped into burgundy, create two rough, uneven circles as roses
Step 5
Using a toothpick dipped into pink, create a few random lines inside the rose to give it a bit of texture
Step 6
Using another toothpick dipped into green, create a few leaves coming out from the rose
step 7
Paint the rest of your nails burgundy
Step 8
Seal in with a top coat
I hope you like this design, and also the new design of Nail It by Ciara! I am hoping to post more regularly now as I am off school for the summer, so keep and eye out for more posts, and also subscribe at the top of this blog to receive email notifications when I post!!
See you next time...
