Janu'berry' Water Marble

Hi guys! One of my fave colours for this time of year is berry! I'm obsessed! So I decided to try and incorporate it into one of my favourite designs...water marble. I hope you enjoy xx

Step 1
Start off with a base coat to protect your natural nails from staining.

Step 2
Paint your nails white. This will make your design more opaque.

Step 3
Fill up a bowl of room temperature water and pick out the colours you want to use. I used berry, white and grey (even though you cant really see the grey in the design!). Once you choose your colours, open their caps and keep them next to the bowl so you can work quickly.

Step 4
Stick some tape around your nail to make the clean up easier.

Step 5
Time to add your colours to the water. Make sure that when you drop in your colours that the brush is close to the surface of the water so the colour doesn't sink to the bottom. Drop in your first colour, then second, then third and repeat as many times as you like.

Step 6
Get a toothpick and draw your design in the colours.

Step 7
Once you're happy with your design, dip your finger into the water at a 45 degree angle. Keep your finger in the water for around 10 seconds while blowing gently on the surface.

Step 8
Use a toothpick and swirl it around the water. This will collect the excess polish

Step 9
Slowly remove your finger from the water and you have your design. Clean up around the nail.

Step 10
Paint the rest of your nails a solid colour and add a top coat

I hope you enjoyed xx See you next time x
